Secretary General
Nadine De Greef is Belgian. She joined the European Federation of Waste Management and Environmental Services, FEAD, in 2000 as Deputy Secretary General and was appointed Secretary General in January 2006. Nadine speaks four languages and graduated in 1989 as interpreter in French and German in Erlangen. Since 1994 she also holds a degree in political sciences from the Free University of Brussels. Before joining FEAD, she had gained 10 years of experience in European affairs (German political representations to the European Union, European Parliament, German-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and a European Federation in the energy sector).

Policy Co-ordinator

René is German. He speaks German, English and has a basic knowledge of French, Spanish and Polish. He holds university degrees in political science/history and in European Studies from the College of Europe. Prior to joining FEAD in December 2007, Rene had worked for a Member of the European Parliament and a chemical trade federation.
Rene is responsible for technical standards, REACH and climate change-related questions.

Policy and Communications Officer

Chrysa is Greek. She speaks Greek, English, German and has a basic knowledge of French. She holds a university degree in law and an LLM in German and European Environmental law from the University of Heidelberg. Chrysa joined FEAD in June 2011. Before that she had worked as a lawyer in Greece, where she is a member of the Heraklion Bar Association, as well as in the legal unit of DG Environment of the European Commission. Chrysa is responsible for legal/market issues and for recycling/resource efficiency. She also manages the communication of the Secretariat.

Administrative and Communications Assistant

Beate is German. She speaks German, English, French and Italian. She studied translation and Fashion Design. After having worked in different international enterprises, a German Lawyers' Association and a European school in Brussels, she joined FEAD in January 2012. Beate is in charge of the FEAD Secretariat's office management and assists in the communication issues.
